Thanks Derrick for the nice video Sorry fellas, it was a last minute decision to maiden her so did not inform many about it. Post-maiden report... My turbine engine is a bit underpowered for this airframe, it leapt off upon rotation, typical of all F18F Super Hornets due to the LEX (Leading Edge Extensions) infront, some have crashed it on maiden flight due to this unique 'cobra' character upon rotation, just glad i reacted quickly enough to push down elevator and climb up gently, the climb is also very shallow and slow. Was on full throttle throughout the whole flight. Tried to retract the gears, the valve got jammed somehow...#$%@!!! Had tested it for so many times but decide to jam on maiden flight. 2nd flight i will use full flaps for take-off. No choice, flew it dirty throughout which also contributed to a lot of drag, did some rolls but no loops attempted, i think it would be suicidal LOL...decided to land as daylight was almost gone. I'm just happy to bring her home safely. May need to test my turbine on the ground to establish actual thrust values. Will fly less stressful planes for a while now before attempting to fly this one again haha. Thank you all for support!!! Cheers!

Just scratch-built 2 sidewinder missiles from balsa and birchply for the wingtips, now it looks better with missiles! Also sewn some covers for the wings and stabs, it helps a lot from getting knocks during transport, this jet is 2.4 meters long and weighs 16kg. It isn't easy to carry up and down my block. She's ready to ROCK and ROLL again!!!
