What a wet weekend! No chance to fly but great to continue with my painting... All 9 landing gear doors and 2 airbrakes... Top deck Red/Black trim... Trim lines joints at the tail section...

Fonts "100" added at the nose section... Need to touch-up the top cover color, doesn't blend in with the fuse color. Installing gear doors and cylinders this week.

Nice job... ;D The weathering shades on the rectangular panels seems very natural... or did you shade it on painstakingly?

Thanks Skyhobbies,
It's individual panel shaded by airbrush using 4 different tones of grey. Very "SIONG" method but worth it after finished airbrushing it.
Cheers!

Thanks Derrick!
Hi Cas, thanks for compliment. Turbine jet is in the region of 6K to 15K sing dollars. Depends very much of what you want to start flying with. A sport jet is in the region of 6K, while a scale one like mine is somewhere slightly above 10K depending on turbine/ electronics/servos chosen.
Best is to start with a sport jet like Baby Boomerang or Falcon120 (converted to turbine using 60~70KN thrust turbines). Or is scale is really what you want, take the F15 anytime, it is the best scale jet to start with, good flying characteristics.
There's currently a build thread and flying videos by Sir Dennis P. here in this informative forum.
The other issue of course is where to fly turbine jets, there is only one officially sanctioned flying site in Singapore, that is RMS (Radio Modellers Singapore) flying club in Tuas, next to Raffles Marina at 2nd Link. I don't fly my jet in Singapore, only in Malaysia. Cheers!
