Thank you everyone for chipping in for the charger predicament. After much thinking, I have decided to get a new cordless drill set from Makita. Damage $460. I looks solid and feels very good. Its time to retire the the 7.2V cordless drill that has served me 14 years!. Now the charger is PnP. Solid!! no need to use brain. Slide in the batt and wait for green light or "musical" end-of-charge beeps.

Nice tool you have. now that can help you to get some night jobs to offset the damage.. who know it turns into a profit... Like the govrn. you will have surplus!! if you are good can always redistribute it here

Soldered the Dynatron wires to the crimp connectors that came with the Finer Edge MFG adapter.

Shortened screw threads at the front. I chose not to mount the acorn nuts as it was too close to the aluminium wheel.
