The stock ESC is their 50A continuous and 70A peak ESC with 3.5A BEC... TIM WAN has advised me to set the throttle settings to 80% on my Futaba as the ESC linear is at it's fullest on the 80% mark. For a 3.5A supply, I clearly have some doubts about powering those 8 micro servos...

Packing of the kit is very nicely done with foam sheets and bubble wrapped all over...

Here is a sneak peek at the Rear Retract Servo positions as well as the Flap Servo. For the RTF version, the Flaps are already pre-cut and hinged All mechanical retracts are pre-installed.

I have requested the LANDER 68mm Metal Edition EDF system with the 4370KV motor all preassembled and installed. The metal shroud, nose and tail cone are aluminum and it feels really cool to the touch... Initial test run is vibration-free.... so far so good at the moment ... The fan cover is removable via 2 bolts with a nut anchored at the based for tightening... this is something clever for user to change to other fans.

AIYO the Capt. has new model , from the pictures it looks good so............... test fright this weekend Capt....? Umm maybe we need to ensure the retracts are 100% on the inspection in view of your recent experience with mechanical retracts......? Apart from the higher kV motor how will the kits that you will be receiving be configured..?, motor, fan, servo's, so just fit Rx and GO..? My only comment is the flap and retract servo are in the inlet duct which was one of the problems with the old KY T-33, I am sure can impact more on this.

Actually there is a cheater hole at the bottom, almost a half moon... so that leave the scale intake duct for cosmetic scale purpose only....
The Main Rear Retracts are embedded into the wing, and pleasantly surprise there is a stock carbon tube across the wing almost along the CG line.
My bit of concern was the intake airflow until I saw the cheater hole below that make whole lot of sense now.
