Ok guys ... the KKB Family Fun Fly 2008 will be taking place this year! The details are as follows:
Event: KKB Family Fun Fly 2008
Venue: Taman Millenium, KKB
Date: 7 & 8 June 2008
Fee: RM200 (full package, includes flying, all meals and accomodation), RM90 (day trip plus meals except BBQ), other packages are being put together.
Misc
There will be a full BBQ on 7th night with roast lamb etc. we are also going to have food served this time and not just brought to us, coffe/tea making facilities etc. In the meeting room we will do our best to set up a G4 with projector ok, courtesy of NTC. So we can have a huge sized sim going on. Do try to lend your support as we will have Singaporeans coming up and if we are lucky, some pro factory heli flyers from overseas, if we are lucky! For you heli guys you got your own field to fly and it will be even better as no need to worry about planes and helis flying together.
Planes
Field is slightly rough at certain parts because its used by footballers, no planes bigger than 50cc please and EDF etc should be 70 mm fan and above. Planes will no UC can happily land there. Helis will have own field and those who wanna fly seaplanes of no more than 40 sized may do so. We got space for Control Line and Buggy is necessary
Radios
It will be impounded.
Facilities
Proper toilets, there is a meeting hall and an aircon meeting room too that can sit 40 paxs.
Accomodation and venue has been confirmed so it’s all happening in June 2008! For more reference see this link:
