HP-DS12GCP & HP-DS20GMD tail servo

Hi,

I have there 2 servo from skyhobbies 2-3 months back.
Some question!

I'm using it with Futaba GY401.
1. What is the default setting of the Tx compatibility?
2. For HP-DS12GCP, I have tested it with JR7202 & Fut 12FG.
It work very well with Fut 12FG.
With JR2702, gyro sens down to 50% sometimes still will wag!

For the HP-DS20GMD, I only tested it with JR2702 tx!
It cause the whole heli vibrate, it is OK with S9254.

I don't have the programing USB cable! Is that I have to program it to JR Tx compatible when I use JR tx?

Hi Wong.

The Hyperion Atlas Digital Servos allows resolution programming through the ATLAS interface. The key here is with the bandwidth. However I am not able to advise how much to adjust for JR Transmitters... try to readjust the servo bandwidth and see how it goes with the JR Resolution...

I bought another piece of HP-DS20GMD to try it out. With d USB cable.
This time I have set it to Futaba tx compatible.

Result is still no good. I got wag when do F8 turn.
Gyro gain had been reduce alot compare with using 9254.

And I also found that this servo got some free movement of the gear.
(can feel free movement when turn d servo horn before it engage d servo motor,
I believe d gear tooth within gear tooth got free space)

Is hyperion have any official support forum?

Where do you fly?... see that you are from Malaysia.

If you are ok, I will get our dealer in JB to assist you with the setup on site? No obligation. I believe this is the best way to solve the problem. Spare gear set will be from us if required.

Just give us a call to arrange for our dealer to meet you on site on your next funfly. He is a very nice and humble guy who has every knowledge of the servo setup.

FYI Hyperion so far has no forum yet but I believe they will in near future.

I'm from malaysia but was in KL. I'm flying with the Knight Team at Bukit Jelutong.
Not easy for me to go down to JB.

No problem, I just need to do more try on the setting, like use lower 1 hole at the servo horn but
currently I got no time to do testing.

Of cause if I can refer to someone's setting than it will be great.

If not, can u give me ur JB dealer address/tel so that I can pay a visit!

I'm interest with HP-DS20xSMD for my new heli! (90size)
But I would like to see my self this time is hyperion improve on d gear!

As my previous purchase 2 tail servor which it can't hold and I had put them to throottle! (HP-DS20GMD)
