We are proud to present the new design of the SJM500 PRO V3. Unlike the previous version, they are not upgrades but is a completely new design incorporating the latest mechanical designs and techniques into the V3.
Differences from the SJM430/500 (previous model):
- Chinese weights have been added to the main blade grips
- Main blade grips will accept 10mm root blades now, compatible with most 500 size blades
- New Thrust Bearing designed for tail servo linkage and tail pitch slider to ensure absolute smooth tail controls (No Ball Links)
- Tail control rods and tail blade grip ball links has been replaced with flange bearings for slopfree operations
- New servo mounts and head design will allow mini to standard size servos
- Flybarless conversion parts included with the kit
- Full chrome finishing from head to tail
- New motor mounting plate can accept most motors in the market for 500 size heli
- Servo output shaft stabilizers with flange bearings for all cyclic servos to enhance precision and reduce load on servo output shafts
- New lighter canopy
- Rubber dampers for landing skid and tail support to absorb impact during hard landing and autorotation
- One piece tail unit housing, more rigid and robust
- New adjustable slop free swash plate, better cyclic precision
- Three main shaft support bearing blocks
- New ESC board location for easy wiring and better cooling
- Fibreglass receiver board to maximize signal strength
- Bearings for swash anti-rotation bracket & flybar for smooth cyclic response
- Wider tail belt
- More robust head with 3mm steel screws for mixing arms
- Metal tail boom with hard chrome finishing
