Kero Blow lamps.....!!!.....  Most of you younger readers may what is this idiot talking about ... Moons ago before Butane torches we had a tank full of paraffin which you pressurised using a small pump on the tank, there was a wick which heated the pressurised paraffin as it entered the jet nozzle, then you ignited the paraffin spray and you had one hot gas stream. You had to keep the tank pressure up otherwise it all fizzled out..
