Hi ER thanks for the feedback and advice, the P-70 powered ones tip the scales at 21lbs or about 9Kg fully loaded with kerosene the model is supposed to be for a P-60 as you know which is 5.9Kg blow lamp not sure what blow lamp power of a P-70 is ..? With the latest generation of e-Turbax we can get almost 15lbs thrust or 6.8Kg of puff so we would have P/W ratio of 0.71 which would still allow the bird to fry. The original e-Turbax with the xx21/1.5 Neu motor turns out 5.9Kg of puff same same as the P-60.... hmm that is interesting...! P/W ratio of 0.62 so it would not be a rocket ship but it may still fry...?, may need to use the North South Expressway to get airbourne... I suppose I should open the box and see what is inside, weigh it all, and check the area of the intakes to do check of FSA %. The perhaps I should look at the destructions first and see what the issues are in respect of making ducts... re our discussion on the FE Rafale if there are formers all over the place then leave in the box LAH..... Yes!yes yes.. it is time for you to check out and open up your L-39 to see if it needs to go on a diet. Well, I believe with the latest generation of e-Turbax, flying it is no longer a dream la. As for the FE Rafale, there is a former in way of the inlet which makes it a little tricky to install a inlet ducting unless we remove it. Outlet duct all cleared as there is no former inway. Tiger and Camo are in ready stock and I will PM you the pricing that he had quoted me.
